From Analog to Digital: Aron Suarez

Aron Suarez was just 11 years old when his father, Alex, was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Seeing his father use a CPAP mask was strange and unsettling for Aron. But when Alex began experimenting with a didgeridoo as a natural treatment, Aron became fascinated and curious, eager to try the instrument himself. This was his first encounter with what would eventually become Silent Sleep Training.
Always intrigued by technology and how things worked, Aron pursued a career in software development. This path gave him the skills needed to take his father's innovative approach from analog to digital, making it accessible to people worldwide.
After the completion of the second clinical study validating his father’s method, Alex approached Aron with an important question: Could this therapy be made available to a broader audience using digital technology? This conversation marked the turning point, laying the foundation for Silent Sleep Training as we know it today.
Now serving as the CEO of Silent Sleep Training, Aron continues to passionately carry forward his father’s vision, using cutting-edge technology to transform sleep apnea treatment and improve lives globally.

From Personal Challenge to Life-Changing Solution: Alex Suarez
Before becoming an innovator in sleep apnea therapy, Alex Suarez worked professionally as a trustee and corporate auditor. He also dedicated more than 20 years to teaching martial arts, a passion that would later inspire his groundbreaking invention.
In his early thirties, Alex was diagnosed with sleep apnea and prescribed a CPAP device. However, the device was uncomfortable and noisy, disrupting sleep for both Alex and his wife. Frustrated after 14 sleepless nights, Alex returned the CPAP, declaring to his doctor, 'Before I use that thing for the rest of my life, I'd rather die 20 years earlier.'
Determined to find a solution, Alex asked his doctor to clearly explain the root cause of sleep apnea. Understanding that his airway blockage was caused by relaxed throat muscles, Alex used his experience as a martial arts teacher to conceptualize targeted muscle training.
After initial unsuccessful attempts with various techniques, a conversation with a martial arts student introduced him to the Australian didgeridoo. Intrigued by the way his student's throat muscles moved while playing the instrument, Alex began experimenting with a modified didgeridoo. Although his initial attempts didn't produce immediate success, he discovered the instrument created gentle air pressure and vibrations in his throat.
This insight led him to develop specific exercises using a medically adapted didgeridoo. After three months of dedicated self-training, Alex returned to the sleep lab for reassessment. The results were astonishing: Alex Suarez was medically declared free from sleep apnea.
Encouraged by his personal success, Alex partnered with researchers at the University of Zurich to validate his findings. Their clinical studies confirmed that Alex’s innovative throat muscle training effectively reduced sleep apnea symptoms in others as well.
Today, Alex Suarez's vision continues through Silent Sleep Training, positively impacting thousands worldwide who seek natural, effective relief from sleep apnea and snoring.
